Bengaluru-based preventive health intelligence startup Cent has secured $15 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Blume Ventures and South Park Commons, with participation from prominent individual investors, including Arun Sarin, former CEO of Vodafone; Srinivas Narayanan, former B2B CTO at OpenAI; Sharath Narayana; Krishna Sridhar; and Aprameya Radhakrishna.
Founded in 2025 by Shashank ND, founder of Practo and OneFlow Holdings, alongside Anshul Khandelwal and Arpit Garg, Cent is developing an integrated preventive healthcare platform that brings together purpose-built hardware, AI-powered radiology and diagnostics, and bioinformatics to enable earlier and more accessible health assessments.
The fresh capital will support the company’s research and development initiatives and strengthen its AI, engineering and clinical teams as it expands its technology and preventive healthcare capabilities.
Commenting on the funding, Anshul Khandelwal, Co-Founder of Cent, said the investment would help the company deepen its work in artificial intelligence, medical imaging and clinical research. He highlighted the need to shift healthcare towards early detection and accessible preventive care, noting that the company’s first 10,000 scans have underscored the growing relevance of this approach. Cent aims to build preventive healthcare infrastructure in India with the potential to serve global markets.
In a parallel development, Cent has acquired Medsee, an AI-powered radiology reporting workflow platform founded by Chitra Singh. Designed for qualified medical professionals, Medsee generates structured report drafts and flags potential findings for radiologists to review. The integration is expected to help Cent improve reporting speed and consistency as its scan volumes increase.
