
Priyanka Sharma has been promoted to Senior Vice President & Head – Talent, HRBP & Sustainability at Niva Bupa Health Insurance, marking a significant advancement in her leadership journey within the organization.

Throughout her tenure at Niva Bupa, she has held several strategic leadership positions, steadily expanding her responsibilities across talent management, human resources business partnering, organizational development, and sustainability initiatives.
Over the years, Priyanka Sharma has progressed through multiple leadership roles at Niva Bupa, including Vice President & Head – Talent, HRBP and Sustainability, Vice President – Talent Management, Leadership and Organizational Development, and Deputy Vice President – Talent Management & Organizational Development. In these positions, she played a key role in shaping talent strategies, strengthening leadership pipelines, enhancing employee engagement, driving well-being initiatives, supporting succession planning, and facilitating organizational transformation programs.
Her promotion comes as organizations increasingly recognize the importance of aligning talent management and sustainability priorities with long-term business growth. Sharma’s experience in building people-centric strategies has contributed to the development of leadership capabilities and workforce effectiveness across the organization.
Before joining Niva Bupa, Sharma built an extensive career with Schneider Electric, where she held a series of senior human resources and talent leadership positions. These roles included Global Talent Partner & Senior HRBP, HRBP for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, Associate General Manager – Talent Management & Organizational Development, Associate General Manager – Learning Solutions, Program Leader – Mid-Level Country Leadership Program, and Senior Manager – Learning Solutions.
Her experience at Schneider Electric provided broad exposure to global talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and strategic HR transformation across diverse markets and business environments.
Earlier in her career, Sharma served as a Human Resource Consultant and Trainer in an independent capacity, while also holding leadership positions such as Lead – People Development at Amway India Enterprise and Project Leader at Right Management. These roles helped her develop deep expertise in people strategy, learning and development, leadership coaching, and organizational capability building.
