Seclore has appointed Roshan Cariappa as Regional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Asia and the Middle East & Africa (MEA), as the company expands its focus on enterprise data security and regulatory compliance across these regions.
In this role, he will oversee marketing operations across Asia and MEA, with a focus on strengthening go-to-market execution, expanding enterprise outreach, and driving awareness around data security technologies. His mandate also includes advancing category positioning for Data Security Intelligence, scaling pipeline and revenue growth, and deepening engagement with enterprise customers navigating AI-driven data risks and increasing regulatory complexity.
The appointment comes at a time when organisations are increasing investments in data protection tools, driven by the adoption of artificial intelligence and cloud-based systems, alongside stricter compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Roshan brings close to two decades of experience in business-to-business marketing within enterprise technology companies. Prior to joining Seclore, he spent over seven years at Vymo, where he served as Vice President – Marketing. During this time, he led brand positioning, demand generation, and customer engagement initiatives across India, Southeast Asia, and the United States.
Beyond his corporate experience, he has worked with early-stage startups in advisory capacities, focusing on go-to-market strategies, customer acquisition planning, and scaling efforts. Earlier in his career, he founded a consumer technology startup centered on virtual reality-based gaming products.
He is also the host of The Startup Operator podcast, where he has featured over 250 founders across more than 400 episodes over six years.
The appointment reflects how cybersecurity firms are strengthening regional leadership to address increasing competition and meet the growing demand for scalable data protection solutions across expanding digital ecosystems.
