
Microsoft has appointed Shruti Narang as Director of Marketing, India, bringing her back to the organization as it continues to strengthen its brand and market presence in the country.
She joins the role from GitHub, where she served as Director – Marketing for nearly five years, leading marketing initiatives and contributing to the growth of the developer ecosystem in India.
Shruti Narang brings over two decades of experience across marketing, branding, and communications. She had previously been associated with Microsoft for over four years as Integrated Marketing Manager, where she led integrated campaigns and brand strategy, building strong familiarity with the company’s marketing ecosystem.
In her new role, she will focus on driving integrated marketing strategies across channels, strengthening brand positioning in the Indian market, leading growth and expansion initiatives, and enhancing customer engagement through data-driven marketing approaches.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Aviva India as Associate Vice President, and worked with leading agencies including Rediffusion Y&R, BBDO India, Publicis Groupe India, Innocean Worldwide, and Mudra Communication.
Her expertise spans integrated marketing campaigns, brand strategy and communication, digital marketing transformation, and customer engagement across multiple industries.
This appointment reflects the growing importance of integrated marketing in technology ecosystems, along with an increased focus on brand-led growth strategies and the role of experienced leadership in scaling global businesses in India.
