Cloudera has elevated Vinay Rayker to the role of Director – Cloud Solutions Architect, marking a key milestone in his six-year journey with the organization.
In this role, he will lead the APAC Cloud Solutions Architecture team, focusing on driving cloud business growth, shaping go-to-market strategy, and accelerating customer adoption across the region.
He has been associated with Cloudera for over six years, progressing through multiple leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Cloud Leader – APAC from September 2022 to April 2026 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, where he led cloud business growth and managed teams of Cloud Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers across the region.
Prior to this, he held the role of Partner Technology Leader & Partner COE Head from November 2019 to September 2022, where he was responsible for building and expanding Cloudera’s partner ecosystem and driving technology programs across GSIs and regional partners.
Earlier, he also served briefly as Director – Strategic Sales at Cloudera from November 2018 to January 2019.
Before joining Cloudera, he worked at Microsoft as Director – Partner Technology from February 2019 to November 2019, where he led partner-facing technology initiatives.
His career also includes experience with Informatica and IBM, building strong expertise in cloud, data platforms, and partner ecosystems.
He began his professional journey as a summer intern at Indian Space Research Organisation.
With experience spanning cloud platforms, data technologies, and partner-led growth, Vinay Rayker brings a strong foundation to lead Cloudera’s cloud solutions architecture and expansion across APAC.
