L’Oréal India Elevates Rupal Singh Chauhan as Head of Marketing for Biolage

L’Oréal India has elevated Rupal Singh Chauhan as Head of Marketing for Biolage India, marking the next phase of her more than six-year journey with the beauty and personal care company.

In her new role, Chauhan will lead marketing for Biolage in India, with a focus on strengthening the brand’s positioning, expanding its reach and identifying new growth opportunities in the professional haircare segment. Her mandate will also include building greater consumer relevance and supporting the brand’s growth across the Indian market.

Prior to the elevation, Chauhan was associated with Kérastase Paris, where she led marketing initiatives across brand campaigns, product launches and consumer engagement programmes. Reflecting on her experience, Chauhan said her tenure with Kérastase had played an important role in shaping her journey as a marketer.

“As I step into this new role with Biolage, I’m excited to take on a fresh challenge: building on the brand’s strong legacy, unlocking new avenues for growth, and making professional haircare more relevant and accessible to even more Indian consumers,” Chauhan said while announcing her new role.

Chauhan joined L’Oréal in May 2020 as National Business Development Manager. During her tenure with the company, she has held multiple roles across business development and marketing, including Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager. Her experience at L’Oréal has covered brand strategy, campaign development, business growth and consumer-focused marketing initiatives.

Before joining L’Oréal, Chauhan worked with Diageo India, where she served as Sales Team Lead and gained experience in sales and commercial operations. She began her career with Idea Cellular, joining the company as a Management Trainee before progressing to the role of Key Account Manager.

Her professional experience spans beauty, consumer goods and telecommunications, with expertise across marketing, sales, business development, brand building and key account management.

L’Oréal India is part of the global L’Oréal Group and operates across beauty and personal care categories including haircare, skincare, makeup and professional beauty. The company manages a portfolio of global brands in India and reaches consumers through retail, digital and professional salon channels, with a focus on innovation, consumer engagement and expanding its presence in the Indian beauty market.
