Last October, Jio Financial and BlackRock Financial Management Inc. announced the launch of a mutual fund business. The joint venture with BlackRock is progressing smoothly, with ongoing efforts to establish systems, infrastructure, and recruit a leadership team. Recently, they appointed Fal Ghancha as Head of Technology and CISO.
Fal Ghancha holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and has earned multiple certifications and honors, including Certified Cloud Security Professional, recognition as one of the Top 100 CISOs, and a keynote speaker at The European Information Security Summit.

With over 19 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, Fal has a proven track record of delivering innovative and effective solutions to various business challenges. He began his career with Welspun World as Sr. Manager – IT, then moved to Aegon Life, and most recently served as Chief Information Security Officer at DSP Mutual Fund. In his previous role, he was integral to the InfoSec Team, overseeing Information and Cyber Security Governance, Policies & Processes, Information Security audits, and Business Continuity Planning & Disaster Recovery drills.
