Mphasis reported that artificial intelligence-led engagements accounted for 63% of its new deal wins during the first quarter of FY27, highlighting the growing contribution of AI services to the company’s business pipeline.
The Bengaluru-headquartered technology services company secured new total contract value wins of $461 million during the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Mphasis is positioning its Tria platform at the centre of its enterprise AI strategy, with a focus on helping organisations deploy governed AI systems and generate measurable business outcomes.
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Nitin Rakesh said early market acceptance of Mphasis Tria had strengthened the company’s positioning as a platform-led AI partner for enterprise customers. The company expects its growth momentum to accelerate further during the second quarter of FY27.
Mphasis reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹4,384.05 crore, representing an increase of 17.46% from ₹3,732.49 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue increased 8.3% year-on-year in constant-currency terms.
Consolidated net profit rose 10.82% year-on-year to ₹489.51 crore from ₹441.70 crore. However, profit declined 3.95% sequentially, while operating margin stood at 14.8%, reflecting pressure from new-deal ramp-up expenditure, strategic investments and acquisition-related costs.
The company also advanced its acquisition strategy during the quarter. It completed the acquisition of Theory and Practice Business Intelligence and OKIN Process’s business process outsourcing operations. On July 1, Mphasis entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a customer contract from Red Oak Technologies for consideration of up to $28 million, subject to closing conditions.
The acquisitions are expected to expand the company’s capabilities across data, analytics and business-process services while supporting its broader AI-led transformation strategy.
