Multiples Alternate Asset Management is an India-based alternative asset management firm founded in 2009 and headquartered in Mumbai. The firm invests across sectors including financial services, technology, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, consumer businesses and the green economy. Its portfolio has included companies such as ACKO, Delhivery, Dream Sports, India Energy Exchange, Licious, MoEngage and TI Clean Mobility.
Technology is also an established investment focus for Multiples. The firm has stated that it backs Indian IT services and SaaS companies developing technology-led solutions for global markets. In 2026, Multiples has also been reported to be increasing its focus on AI-first technology businesses.
The firm’s own ESG reporting identifies technology risk, including data loss, malicious attacks, system failures and other technology-related exposures, as an area requiring enterprise-wide risk management and security controls.
Kansara’s appointment therefore brings together his experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity and transformation with Multiples’ technology-focused investment and operating environment. His mandate will include building technology capabilities that can support the firm’s operations while strengthening security, governance and the adoption of emerging technologies.
