SentinelOne has appointed Murali Urs as Director – Channels, India & SAARC, strengthening its channel leadership as cybersecurity vendors increasingly look to partner ecosystems to expand their enterprise presence across the region.
In his new role, Urs will bring his extensive experience in cybersecurity sales, channel development, alliances, and enterprise business growth to SentinelOne. His track record includes building partner networks, expanding market presence, and working closely with enterprise customers across the cybersecurity ecosystem.
Urs joins SentinelOne from BeyondTrust, where he served as Country Manager – India & SAARC. Before that, he held the position of Regional Sales Director at CrowdStrike and worked in Security Sales – India at ServiceNow. He also served as Country Manager – India at Barracuda Networks, where his responsibilities included business expansion and strengthening relationships across the partner and enterprise landscape.
Over the course of his career, Urs has held several leadership positions spanning cybersecurity, enterprise technology, channels, and strategic accounts. His earlier experience includes roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Symantec, and McAfee, where he worked across areas such as enterprise sales, alliances, channel development, product management, and strategic accounts.
Urs began his professional journey with Softcell Technologies Pvt. Ltd. as a Branch Manager and subsequently worked as Sales Manager at Datapro and Territory Manager at Binary Semantics. These early roles provided a foundation in sales, market expansion, business development, and partnership management.
His appointment comes at a time when organizations are placing greater emphasis on integrated cybersecurity strategies and trusted technology partnerships. With experience across both cybersecurity companies and enterprise technology organizations, Urs brings a broad understanding of how vendors and channel partners can work together to drive adoption and business growth.
The move further adds channel leadership depth to SentinelOne’s operations in India and the broader SAARC market, while positioning Urs to leverage his experience in developing partnerships and expanding enterprise-focused cybersecurity businesses.
