Sumit Chadha has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer at IIFL Home Loans, adding another major achievement to his career of more than two decades in digital transformation, lending technology, and housing finance.
Before joining IIFL Home Loans, he served as Chief Information Officer at India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation (IMGC) for nearly five years. During his tenure, he played an important role in driving technology-led innovation, modernizing infrastructure, and leading enterprise transformation initiatives across the organization.
Recognized for effectively aligning technology strategies with business growth objectives, Sumit has successfully led large-scale digital transformation programs across the financial services industry. He has also contributed significantly to strengthening cybersecurity measures, enhancing IT governance frameworks, and promoting modernization through microservices architecture and emerging technologies.
Earlier in his career, he spent more than nine years at PNB Housing Finance Limited in senior technology leadership positions, including Head of Information Technology and DGM – IT Business Applications. His expertise in lending and credit technology was further strengthened through his work at Nucleus Software, where he managed the FinnOne Suite, as well as at ICICI Bank, where he worked as Regional Credit Manager.
