Mumbai : VB Group, a reputed Mumbai-based developer, has appointed Rishikesh R Ranga as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as the Group enters a new phase of strategic expansion. With nearly 17 years of experience spanning financial services, premium real estate, sales, marketing and business development, Ranga will lead the company’s growth strategy, with a focus on building a stronger project pipeline, expanding its development platform and institutionalising operations.
The appointment comes at a time when VB Group is seeking to significantly scale its presence across Mumbai and Thane. The Group is targeting approximately potential sales inventory worth ~₹10,000 cr. over the next two years, alongside an expansion of its workforce from approximately 70-80 employees to a headcount of around 300.

Ranga brings healthy expertise across the real estate value chain, having worked in business development, sales & marketing, scale & strategy, channel distribution & proptech. He began his career in financial services sector with the Aditya Birla Group & Bajaj Allianz, where he spent roughly six years managing institutional business sales portfolios working closely with CFOs and boards of directors.
He subsequently joined the Lodha Group as part of the core sales team that was involved across launches of prominent developments including The World Towers, The Park, New Cuffe Parade, Fiorenza, The Trump Towers and Palava. He later developed a strong focus on premium and luxury real estate across Mumbai’s established micro-markets, including Bandra, Khar, Santacruz and South Mumbai through his stints with luxury developers like Supreme Universal, Dudhwala Group, Piramal Realty.

To date, VB Group has delivered 9 projects spanning approximately 1.3 million sq. ft, with another 1.8 million sq. ft currently under development across Mumbai and Thane. Ranga’s appointment is expected to accelerate the Group’s transition towards a larger, professionally managed development enterprise, while retaining its focus on location quality, entry into luxury ticket segments, disciplined capital deployment and execution.
