Godrej Agrovet has appointed Anushree Singh as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective September 7, 2026. The appointment comes as the company strengthens its senior leadership and people function.
Singh joins Godrej Agrovet with more than two decades of experience in human resources, covering people strategy, organisational transformation, culture building, leadership development, M&A integration, board management and HR operations. Her professional experience spans India, Europe, North America and global corporate functions.
Before joining Godrej Agrovet, Singh served as Head – Human Resources at JSW Energy. She resigned from the company to pursue an opportunity outside the JSW Group, with her resignation taking effect from the close of business hours on August 31, 2026. Following her departure, JSW Energy began the process of appointing a new HR leader.
At Godrej Agrovet, Singh will be responsible for leading the company’s people strategy and organisational capability agenda. Her mandate includes strengthening organisational capabilities, developing talent and supporting the creation of a future-ready, high-performance organisation aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Singh has previously held senior HR leadership positions at Avery Dennison and AkzoNobel, along with leadership assignments at the Aditya Birla Group. Her experience across these organisations has covered talent management, organisational development, HR business partnering and broader people operations.
At Avery Dennison, Singh held multiple HR leadership responsibilities, including roles connected with commercial and enabling functions, Label and Graphic Materials, and global HR responsibilities. She also served as HR Director for EMEA, Apparel Solutions.
Singh also served as CHRO for the India Sub-continent at AkzoNobel, where her responsibilities included leading the HR function and contributing to people and organisational initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked with organisations including the Aditya Birla Group and held roles spanning different areas of human resources.
Her appointment follows the cessation of Mallika Mutreja’s employment as Head – Human Resources at Godrej Agrovet, which took effect from the close of business hours on August 6, 2026. Godrej Agrovet subsequently appointed Singh to the CHRO position effective September 7.
With her experience across HR leadership, organisational transformation, talent development and people strategy, Singh will now lead the human resources function at Godrej Agrovet as the company continues to build organisational capabilities and support its growth objectives.
